Conservation through research and storytelling

Hello
I'm Anthony, an avid conservationist with roots in wildlife biology and expedition touring. My goal is to help preserve this planet using research and photography. Join me as I share these tales through visual stories and adventures from around the world!
My Story
Born in the concrete jungle, I craved nature as a kid - I'd walk home from school and be fascinated with the squirrels, birds, and critters clinging to the few trees scattered throughout town. True bliss came around when I'd escape the city to summer camp and lose myself in the forest. My senses came alive to the sweet aroma of flowers, the thumping sound of bears, and the tart taste of wild raspberries.
Since then, I've chased the euphoric feeling that comes with being surrounded by nature and wildlife. Whether its staring into the eyes of a fox or taking a nap on a bed of moss, moments spent connecting to the earth bring perspective and joy.
This path led me to becoming a wildlife biologist and working with a variety of species at risk including turtles, whales, bears, wolves, and birds. Big or small, they're each fascinating in their own way and they remind us that we are all connected. We all breathe the same air, we all drink the same water, and we all just want a place to call home.
Over the years, my path evolved and started including other avenues; leading wildlife expeditions, sitting on various conservation boards, engaging in public speaking, and dabbling in photography. Wherever my feet lead, it's always important to showcase the importance of protecting wild spaces. By protecting nature, we protect ourselves.

My hope is that you'll follow some of these adventures and find your connection to nature!
